Lance Corporal Jason Marks laid to rest

A private burial service was held at the Yeppoon Cemetery for Lance Corporal Jason Marks.
Soldiers from the 4th Battalion (Commando), The Royal Australian Regiment in which Jason proudly served, provided an Honour Guard, Bearer Party and Rifle Party for the solemn ceremony.
The Rifle Party fired a volley of shots and the Last Post was played as Jason’s casket was lowered to his final resting place. Jason’s family and closest friends were present at the ceremony.
Special Operations Commander Australia, Major General Tim McOwan, DSC, CSM was also in attendance. The private occasion allowed those closest to Jason to pay their final respects to this much loved and dedicated soldier.
