Training for Easter and public display

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) deployed several aircraft to New Zealand in the lead up to Easter for training and public display appearances.

Two No. 6 SQN F-111C strike aircraft were operating at Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Base Ohakea on North Island, supported by a No.36 SQN C-17 Globemaster III.

The aircraft was based out of Christchurch Airport for the Easter weekend while they appeared at "Warbirds over Wanaka" air show.
