Defence on show at Formula One Grand Prix
17 March 2008
High-flying assets of the Australian Defence Force were showcased alongside the annual Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Defence Force Recruiting staff were on hand to distribute information and answer questions, while spectators tested out their skills on the many simulated computer programs.
The Navy's new Augusta A109E drew many interested onlookers, while the RAAF's popular Roulettes and F/A-18 Hornet turned the attention from the track to the sky.
