Scouts fly the flag at RAAF Base Richmond
22 July 2008
On July 17, a group of Scouts from the Hawkesbury area of western Sydney visited RAAF Base Richmond to receive a tour of the C-130 Hercules of No. 37 Squadron. As part of the tour, Scouts had their photo taken with the Scouts Australia flag in front of a Hercules as part of the ‘Fly the Flag’ competition. Held to celebrate a centenary of the Scouting movement, Scouts are encouraged to show their flag in high profile locations.
