Army in action on HMAS Tobruk during Exercise Sea Lion

Exercise Sea Lion is the lead-in exercise for the 2008 Fleet Concentration Period and is conducted to regenerate Fleet mariner and war-fighting skills.

The Fleet Concentration Period is designed to improve the Australian Defence Force's capabilities in amphibious, mine clearance and diving capabilities.

Squadex is the lead in exercise for Fleet Concentration Period East 2008 is conducted to regenerate Fleet Mariner and War Fighting Skills. FCP East 2008 is designed to improve the Australian Defence Forces capabilities in Amphibious, mine clearance and Diving Capabilities.
