HMAS Newcastle personnel embark on charity work

A team of walkers from HMAS Newcastle has departed on a 10-day charity walk.
Crew of HMAS Newcastle departed from Garden Island in Sydney on a fun walk to raise funds for the ship's nominated charity, The Hunter Orthopedic School located in Newcastle.
The walk is from Garden Island to Newcastle and is expected to take 10 days to complete.
In attendance was the ship's Commissioning Lady Mrs Margret McNaughton to cut the ribbon signifying the commencement of the walk.
