Govenor General farewell parade
The Australian Defence Force held a Farewell Parade for His Excellency the Governor-General of Australia, Major General Michael Jeffery, AC, CVO, MC, at Sir Thomas Blamey Square in Canberra. Chief of Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, paid tribute to the outgoing Commander-in-Chief and his wife, Her Excellency Mrs Marlena Jeffery.
The Secretary, Vice Chief of Defence Force and Service Chiefs were also in attendance.
