Battle of Britain commemoration

The Royal Australian Air Force took part in the 67th Commemoration of the Battle of Britain in Tasmania on the weekend of 15-16 September.
RAAF Hawk jets from No.79 Squadron from RAAF Base Pearce, WA, conducted flypasts of Hobart and Launceston.
The Battle of Britain has been commemorated in Hobart for many years.
September 15 is traditionally the day that the sacrifices of Australian and other allied Air Force personnel during the Battle of Britain are remembered.
