Repatriation of Private Ashley Baker

Private (PTE) Ashley Baker, the young Australian soldier who died in Timor-Leste last week, was returned to Australia and met by family and colleagues at RAAF Base Amberley.
The solemn repatriation ceremony was attended by close relatives and soldiers from his unit the 2nd Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR).
Members of the Timor-Leste Battle Group 3, who were serving with PTE Baker at the time of his death, provided an official escort aboard a RAAF C-130 Hercules aircraft which left Dili.
