Combined Arms Training Activity

In April and May of 2007, Australian Army soldiers took part in the 3rd Brigade Combined Arms Training Activity (CATA), which put more than 3000 troops in a variety of operational scenarios in North Queensland.
One scenario included parachute delivery of 3 RAR & 3rd Brigade troops by three RAAF 37 Squadron C-130 Hercules.
The training will assist ADF personnel in June 2007 when they take part in Exercise Talisman Saber 2007.
