Special Air Service Regiment 50th anniversary coin released

A special coin has been released by The Perth Mint to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR).
The coin was officially unveiled at Campbell Barracks by the Regiment's Honourary Colonel, and former Commanding Officer, The Govenor General, His Excellency Major General Michael Jeffery.
Six thousand coins have been minted for sale to the public, with a further 1500 coins reserved for members of the Regiment and the SASR Association.
