Exercise Albatross Ausindo

Australia and Indonesia are working to strengthen the Defence relationship in areas of mutual security, and promote cooperation between the two Air Forces.
As part of the increased cooperation, the Royal Australian Air Force and the Indonesian Air Force(TNI-AU) conducted a combined exercise - Exercise Albatross Ausindo 07 (EX AA07).
Running from 16-20 July, EX AA07 demonstrated the commitment between Australia and Indonesia in developing cooperative maritime surveillance procedures.
This is the eighth time the exercise has been held since inception in 1997. It also involved a surveillance sortie and a search and survivor supply activity.
