Exercise Bersama Shield
26 April 2007
Bersama Shield 2007 (BS07) is being held over the Malaysian Peninsula and the South China Sea from 23 April to 03 May 2007.
BS07 aims to practice interoperability of air, ground and naval forces under the auspices of the Five Power Defence Arrangements.
The United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand are also involved in the joint exercise.
Air Force elements involved in the exercise include F-111 aircraft from No. 1 Squadron; F/A-18 aircraft from No. 75 Squadron; a B707 from No. 33 Squadron; an Orion aircraft from No. 92 Wing Detachment A, and support elements from No. 324 Combat Support Squadron and No. 41 Wing Detachment Butterworth.
