HMAS BALLARAT returns to Sydney

Anzac Class frigate HMAS Ballarat has returned to Sydney with 185 personnel, following a six-month deployment to the Persian Gulf.
HMAS Ballarat was stationed in the North Persian Gulf as part of Operation CATALYST from March to July this year.
HMAS Ballarat assisted in the detection, deterring and intercepting of vessels within Iraqi waters suspected of undertaking illegal activity.
