Private Kovco's funeral service

Private Jacob Kovco died while serving on Operation CATALYST in the Middle East with the Australian Security Detachment, Baghdad, on 21 April 2006.
Private Kovco's funeral service was held in his home town of Briagolong, and was attended by family and friends as well as the Prime Minister, John Howard, the Minister for Defence, Dr Brendan Nelson MP, the Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, Chief of Army , Lieutenant General Peter Leahy, and the Commanding Officer 3 RAR, Lieutenant Colonel Mick Mumford.
Operation CATALYST is the Australian Defence Force (ADF) contribution to the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Iraq and comprises approximately 1400 Australian Defence Force personnel.
