Ceremony in Townsville marking the 10th anniversary of the Black Hawk accident

Soldiers
of the 5th Aviation Regiment, together with
representatives of the Special Air Service Regiment,
joined with the families and friends of those
killed in the 1996 Black Hawk accident to remember
them on the tenth anniversary of the incident.
Two services were held to mark the occasion
– one in Perth for the Special Forces community,
and the other in Townsville for the Army Aviation
community – to pay tribute to their lives, service,
dedication and sacrifice, and pray for ongoing
comfort, care and support to their families,
friends and loved ones.
