Governor-General Michael Jeffrey visits the Navy's Young Endeavour

Governor-General of Australia, His Excellency
Major General Michael Jeffrey, visited STS Young
Endeavour 12APR06, meeting with youth crew who
have sailed from Melbourne, and children from
Northcott Disability Services.
As Patron of the Young Endeavour Youth Scheme,
this was the Governor General's chance to see
the youth developement program in action on
Sydney Harbour.
The Young Endeavour Youth Scheme offers 11 day
voyages for Australians aged between 16-23,
teaching leadership, communication and teamwork
at sea.
