Operation Sumatra Assist photographic record launched at Garden Island, Sydney

A photographic record of the ADF involvement
in Operation Sumatra Assist was launched at
the new Navy Heritage Centre at Garden Island,
Sydney today.
The book, simply titled "Aceh", was compiled
by Leading Seaman Photographer Bill Louys, and
features the work of seven RAN photographers.
The book is dedicated to the nine ADF members
who lost their lives in the Seaking tragedy
in Nias, and proceeds from sales will go to
the Sir David Martin Foundation.
