Return of SAS Warrant Officer David Nary

The late SAS Warrant Officer David Nary was returned to Perth from the Middle East on 10 November 2005.

Warrant Officer Nary's wife, children and parents were at Perth International Airport when the coffin was taken from the aircraft which carried him home from the Middle East.

A military bearer party comprising nine of his fellow Warrant Officers was on hand to honour their fallen comrade.

Warrant Officer Nary, age 42, died on Sunday 6 November 2005 from injuries he received in a training exercise while preparing for operational deployments in the Middle East.

Warrant Officer Nary's funeral is expected to be held in Perth during the week 14-20 November.
