Exercise Dakota Recovery is a joint exercise
between the Royal Australian Air Force and the
Indonesian National Defence Force (TNI-AU) to
recover remains and personal effects from Dakota
A65-61 which crashed into the highlands of Papua
on 18 September 1945. The exercise was conducted
over 23 May to 6 June 2005.
