COMMISSION OF INQUIRY INTO THE LOSS OF HMAS SYDNEY II:  PERTH PUBLIC HEARINGS, 2-5 FEBRUARY 2009

What:        Public hearings of the Commission of Inquiry (COI) into the loss of HMAS Sydney II.

Who:         The President of the Commission, The Honourable Terence Cole AO, RFD, QC, will convene a public hearing of the Inquiry.

During these hearings testimony will be presented to the Commission from members of the public who are independent researchers and authors.

When:       10:00am, Monday 2 to Thursday 5 February 2009 (inclusive).

Where:      Hearing Room 1, Native Title Tribunal, Federal Court, 1 Victoria Avenue, Perth.

Media Notes:

No television cameras will be granted access to the hearing room.
