BOARD OF INQUIRY INTO THE DEATH OF PRIVATE JAKE KOVCO – RANGE SHOOT

The Board of Inquiry (BOI) into the death and repatriation of Private Jake Kovco will be held in closed session on Wednesday 30 August and Thursday 31 August 2006. 

Members of the Board and Counsel will be completing a weapons handling test and shoot with the 9mm pistol for the two days.

A Defence team will be taking vision and stills of elements of the shoot for use by the media.

Vision and stills of the weapons handling test at Victoria Barracks tomorrow is expected to be made available by 4pm.

Arrangements for vision and stills of the live range shoot at RAAF Richmond on Thursday 31 August will be advised later.
