New images available: HMAS Kanimbla restores water supply of earthquake-damaged town

The latest images of ADF humanitarian relief assistance in Indonesia's Sumatra region are available for news media use at: http://www.defence.gov.au/media/download/

The images show residents of the earthquake-damaged town of Lahewa, on Indonesia’s Nias island, using their town water supply for the first time since the 29 March earthquake thanks to the work of HMAS Kanimbla’s stokers (marine engineers).

Other images show a shore party of sailors from Kanimbla nicknamed the "Kindergarten Cops" looking after local children while medics run clinics for earthquake victims.
