Westralia Board of Inquiry Report

The Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Don Chalmers will hold a media conference to announce the outcome of the Board of Inquiry into the fire on board HMAS Westralia . . .

  • at 2.30 pm today (Thursday 17 December)
  • in the Theatrette of Building R1 at Russell Offices.
Vice Admiral Chalmers will summarise the findings of the Board of Inquiry and then take questions.

Media packs will be available and will include the Executive Summary of the Board's report, Volume 1 of the BOI Report, a copy of Chief of Navy's statement and background material.
