FULL NAVAL HONOURS FUNERAL FOR ONE OF NAVY’S MOST DISTINGUISHED ADMIRALS

The late Vice Admiral Sir David Stevenson AC KBE RAN Rtd, one of the Royal Australian Navy’s most distinguished Admirals will be given a funeral with full Naval Honours, tomorrow morning (Friday 6) in Canberra.

The service, to be held at the ANZAC Memorial Chapel of St Paul, Royal Military College Duntroon, commences at 10.00am.

More than 250 Naval personnel will participate in the funeral.

A 34 strong Gun Carriage crew will transport the casket through the grounds of the Royal Military College, accompanied by the Royal Australian Navy Band - Sydney.

A private cremation service for family members will follow.
