AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE RELIEF EFFORT FOR PNG TSUNAMI VICTIMS - UPDATE

The Director General of Public Information, Colonel Keith Jobson, will hold a door stop media opportunity at 2 pm today (July 20) in the foyer of the new Defence Headquarters building R1, at Russell Offices to update on the Australian Defence Force relief effort to the PNG tsunami victims.

R1 is located to the rear left of the Australian American Memorial (the eagle) in Blamey Square.

There have been many requests from the public for a point of contact for donations to the tsunami victims in PNG.

is coordinating donations from the public for this relief effort.
