DIGITAL AND IPEX SELECTED AS PREFERRED TENDERERS FOR CRISP
The Department of Defence announced today that Digital Equipment Corporation and IPEX are the preferred tenderers for the Canberra Region Information Systems Project (CRISP).
This followed the issue on July 2, 1997 of requests for tender for both systems integration and desktop devices.
Digital will undertake the systems integration work. The IPEX tender includes the supply of work stations and Lexmark printers.
The project will provide Defence with an integrated information system network in the new and refurbished Russell buildings and other Defence sites in the Canberra region.
