Legal Training Module 1
All legal officers, both permanent and reserve, are required to complete LTM1 in order to be eligible to advance to CL2 and/or subsequently attempt LTM2.

The courses are conducted at Victoria Barracks, with accommodation provided at nearby Randwick Barracks.
Students are given introductory training in the core disciplines of Military Discipline Law, Military Administrative Law and Military Operations Law as well as a broader introduction to the Defence Legal Division and the role of the ADF legal officer.
All students must be a member of the Legal Officers Specialist Officer Career Scheme (LOSOCS) before nominating for LTM1. Please contact the MLC to discuss if you are not sure.
