Joint Logistics Command

The Link : Defence Logistics Magazine

Purpose

The Link : Defence Logistics Magazine is published twice annually in hard copy and online by Joint Logistics Command, Vice Chief of the Defence Force Group under the directive of Commander Joint Logistics.

Its objectives are:

1. To publish articles in engaging, non-technical language that add to the logistics body of knowledge, enhance the profession of logistics and the image of logisticians;
2. To inform the Defence and wider community of the strategic role and scope of logistics in supporting operations and the raise, train, sustain functions of the ADF;
3. To clarify the scope of activities that occur under the banner of Defence Logistics; and
4. To highlight advances and achievements in Defence logistics.

The Link Audience is:

1. Defence logisticians;
2. Defence personnel at all levels;
3. Defence industry partners; and
4. Logistics entities.

Article submissions are welcomed from all areas of Defence. All articles should be related to logistics and logisticians. The Link is not a technical 'how-to' manual for logisticians, rather the focus is on logistics in contributing to the Defence mission.

Submissions for The Link are most welcome and should be emailed to the address below. All
photographs submitted must be high resolution and cleared for publication.
