The Altitude@DSD graduate program offers an entry pathway to recent graduates and those with post-graduate or specialist industry experience. Candidates in the graduate program undertake a rotation-based development and training regime designed to kick off an amazing and diverse career. The program is designed to offer high achievers an opportunity to gain a breadth of organisational exposure during three work rotations over 12 months. During this time candidates will acquire a diverse range of skills fundamental for a career in their chosen field, while also building professional and social networks across DSD, the Australian Intelligence Community and Defence.

The I&S Group also utilise the Defence Graduate Development Program (GDP) for targeting high calibre, diligent and motivated individuals to work within DIO and DSA. This program offers amazing opportunities for graduates to work at the forefront of Australia's defence and national security effort within the I&S Group. Participants on the GDP are introduced to Defence in three varied work rotations over 10 months across the department with training designed to give graduates a strong base on which to build their careers in the Australian Public Service.
