DFR is a public sector/private sector collaboration between the Department of Defence and Manpower Services (Australia) to provide an integrated recruitment organisation for the Australian Defence Force.
Defence Housing (DHA)
DHA provides housing for members of the Australian Defence Force and their families.
Defence Signals Directorate
DSD provides information security advice and services mainly to Australian federal and state government agencies. DSD also works closely with industry to develop and deploy secure cryptographic products.
FOI Requests
The Directorate of Freedom of Information provides services and support to the Department of Defence to enable it to meet its responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).
Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)
UXO gather and disseminate information that will assist in the safe management of land in Australia that may be subject to UXO contamination.
Community Relations
Defence Force Bands
As key public relations assets, the Bands support many Defence Force and Government ceremonies and parades, as well as a vast range of community festivals, ex-service organisations and educational institutions.

Roulettes
The Roulettes are the Royal Australian Air Force's elite formation aerobatic display team that showcase Air Force flying skills to the Australian public.
Air Force Balloon
The Air Force Balloons support events to which it may not be feasible or economical to send other Air Force aircraft.
The Federation Guard
Australia's Federation Guard is a Tri-Service unit, comprising of members from the Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Army and the Royal Australian Air Force.

Training and Education
Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA)
ADFA is a unique partnership between the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) which provides training and education for the future leaders of the Navy, Army and Air Force.
Royal Military College (RMC), Duntroon
RMC prepare cadets and other selected candidates for careers in the Army, by promoting leadership and integrity, by inspiring high ideals and the pursuit of excellence, and by inculcating a sense of duty, loyalty and service to the nation.
Australian Defence College (ADC)
ADC delivers courses, doctrine, exercises and programs of study to prepare Australian and overseas Defence force personnel, government official and national security practitioners for strategic roles within joint and combined operating environments.
