Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 13 November 2008:
With reference to
- For each agency within the responsibility of the Minister/Parliamentary Secretary, in the period 1 April to 30 September 2008, what programs or projects were cut, curtailed, postponed, delayed or terminated as part of the Government’s $10 billion ‘redirection of priorities’ program.
- For each program affected by the ‘redirection of priorities’ program, how much has been re-directed to ‘higher priority programs/projects’.
- What ‘higher priority programs/projects’ have benefited from cuts or savings made in ‘lower priority programs’.
- How much funding has been allocated to each of these ‘higher priority projects’.
