Mr Melham asked the Minister for Defence, in writing, on 5 June 2008:
In respect of each type of export permit or licence for defence and related goods in the Defence and Strategic Goods List: (a) how many applications were made during each year since 1996-97; (b) how many of these applications were (i) approved, (ii) not approved, (iii) withdrawn; and (c) for applications not approved, what type/s of defence goods, technology or information were involved.
