Mr Melham asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 7 December 2004:
- Does the Royal Australian Air Force and/or the Department of Defence maintain records of the food and beverages purchased for and consumed on Special Purpose Flights.
- Do these records indicate the quantities of food and/or beverages consumed on individual Special Purpose Flights.
- For how long are these records retained.
Mrs Kelly - The Minister for Defence has provided the following answer to the honourable member's question:
- Yes, No. 34 Squadron holds paper-based records for food and beverages supplied for each flight, and on completion of the task, all unconsumed beverages and unopened packaged food.
- See above.
- Records are retained for six years.
