Can a full list be provided of the Defence property proposed for sale in the 2002-03 financial year, indicating: (a) the address; (b) type of property (vacant/buildings); (c) size of the property; (d) type of proposed sale (auction/advertised price); (e) expected price range; and (f) likely timing of the sale.

  2. Defence properties are sold in line with the Commonwealth Property Disposals Policy, which is available on the Department of Finance and Administration website.
  3. Expected price range details are considered Commercial-In-Confidence and due to these considerations, there are limits with respect to disclosing more detailed information than is currently available on the public record.
  4. Due to the nature of property transactions, forecasting the specific date a property will be sold is difficult. The above list of properties are anticipated to be divested from Commonwealth ownership throughout financial year 2002–03.
