1 - Construction Contractor
- Issues First Notice of Completion of the Works or Stage (29 days prior to anticipated Completion) and then 14 days prior to anticipated Completion.
- Holds those tests and inspections required by the Contract for the Works Stage.
- Issues Second Notice of Completion of the Works or Stage (14 days prior to anticipated Completion).

2 - PMCA to Inspect and Assess
No later than 14 days after receiving second notice, PMCA is to inspect the Works of the Stage.
- Whether or not the Works or the stage is, complete except for minor Defects:
- which do not prevent the Works or the Stage from being reasonably capable of being used for he intended purpose of the Works or Stage, and
- which can be corrected without prejudicing the convenient use of the Works or the Stage.
- Whether or not those tests which are required by the Contract were carried out and passed before the Works or Stage reach Completion?
- Whether or not all documents and other information referred to in the Contract, including all Approvals, which are required for the use, operation and maintenance of the Works or Stage have been supplied to the Contract Administrator AND the Contract Administrator has verified as sufficient through the Estate Development operation, maintenance and garrison stakeholders.
- Without limiting the previous dot point, the Contractor has done everything which the Contractor requires it to do as a condition precedent to Completion, including those things described in Annexure 1 and in the the Contract Particulars.

3 - Completion
- If Yes to all, PMCA to issue Completion Correspondence referring to date of Completion and list any minor Defects requiring rectification.
DLP Commencement for Works or Stage - Release First Approved Security for the Works or for each and every Stage, as required by the Contract (nominally within 14 days of Completion) DCC advice to be sought.

3 - Completion
- Regional Staff and CMS GSS Contractor prepare for Operation and Maintenance from operation and maintenance information provided above.
Amend CMS and GSS contracts as required and access NPOC. |
