The Defects Liability Period (DLP) is the contracted warranty for the works. It allows users to notify any problems and get rectification. Also final commissioning may be undertaken when the facility is in full use. Outcome:

1) CMS Project Manager to notify DSG and Users of DLP roles and procedure to call for services. |

| 2) CMS Project Manager to ensure all defects recorded at Practical Completion or during DLP are completed promptly. | There are to be no costs incurred during the Defects Liability Period and this is the subject of CMS Performance Indicator 3254. |
| 3) CMS Project Manager to conduct final inspection prior to end of DLP and record results. | |
