Overview of Engaging PM/CA and Other Contractors

Engaging a PM/CA and Other Contractors is key to the successful development of a project.

In addition to engaging a PM/CA, a Probity Adviser, a Legal Adviser, an Environment and/or Heritage Consultant may also be outlined in the PDDP.

Ideally, PM/CA's should be requested to provide a fixed fee for Pre-Planning stage and provide indicative fees for the Planning Stage and Delivery Phase in the Request for Proposal. This phased engagement approach provides the Project with greater flexibility around possible strategy changes.

All tender processes for engaging Contractors must be done in accordance with the approved Evaluation Plan with any changes to the Evaluation Plan, approved prior to tenders/proposals closing.
