HC Strategy - DBC and Project Approvals Step 2c - Conduct Start Up Meeting with Stakeholders
Activity Considerations Outcome

1) Conduct the start up meeting with the relevant stakeholders. This meeting is conducted jointly by the IAD Project staff and the consultant(s) and is required to confirm the project parameters with the stakeholders.

Relevant Project staff, Consultant(s) and Stakeholders need to discuss at this meeting the following:
  • The process
  • Lines of Communication
  • Key issues for the stakeholders and how these will be addressed
  • Confirmation of the SBC parameters.
  • Confirm Governance arrangements
  • Confirmation of the project scope
  • Technical issues
  • Timings of the project meeting and milestones
  • Identification of key NPOC issues - assignment of responsibility
  • Clarification and confirmation of the stakeholder roles and responsibility.
  • Clarification and confirmation of the project requirements.
  • Start up meeting outcomes are captured and promulgated to the relevant project team members.
  • Stakeholders are provided with a copy of the minutes to ensure that agreement is reached on the start up meeting outcomes.
  • Minutes stored on the project file and G Drive.
