1) Review the Takeover Plan and update it as necessary. |
Takeover is the stage where:
Takeover takes place after Commissioning and Handover. IAD / Project Director and NOD are jointly responsible for developing a Takeover Plan to ensure that all Takeover roles, responsibilities and requirements are addressed. The Takeover Plan developed by IAD / Project Director and NOD will govern the respective roles and responsibilities during Takeover. Takeover is a stage which is internal to Defence and therefore does not involve the construction contractor. This stage operates concurrently with Step 9 Managing the Defects Liability Period). The Takeover plan must specifically identify ongoing requirements for environmental management as set out in the OEMP. |

2) Seek agreement and sign-off on any amendments to the Takeover Plan from IAD project team / Project Director, NOD (Regional Office and Manager Technical Services) and users/sponsors. |

| 3) Distribute copies of the revised Takeover Plan (if any) (as appropriate) and place original on project file. | ||
| 4) Complete asset roll-out tasks (see separate documentation on Financial Management). | ||
| 5) Implement procedures in Takeover Plan eg meetings, reports, information exchange. | ||
| 6) Prepare Takeover Report which documents Takeover activities prior to project completion and Handover. | ||
| 7) Distribute copies of the Takeover Report (as appropriate) and place original on project file . | ||
