There are three versions of DEMS:
- DEMS-FM,
- DEMS ID and
- DEMSWEB.

| The Defence Estate Management System (DEMS-FM) consists of software modules that support business processes used by the Defence Support Group in the delivery of Comprehensive Maintenance, Garrison Support Services and the Facilities Operations (FACOPS) Program. Its core functions are the Estate Register, Works Processing modules and Project modules |
| The DEMS-ID module was developed specifically to enable users and managers within the Infrastructure and Asset Development Branch to easily and efficiently manage and report on major capital facilities projects and contracts. |
DEMSWEB is available to all DRN users. DEMSWEB was designed to:
- enable quick and easy access to Asset, Regional Project and Work Request data,
- provide DRN Users the capability to Create Work Requests, Review Work Requests and Review Regional Projects, and
- provide access to DEMS User Manuals and Training Packs.
