Defence has commenced a consultation program as part of its preparations for the Point Cook FTA Remediation Project.
Defence has recently updated the community and relevant stakeholders through a community consultation session held at Sanctuary Lakes Resort in September 2012. The next community consultation session is currently anticipated to take place in the second half of 2013, prior to the contractor commencing physical remediation work. Notice of this meeting will be provided through this website along with national newspaper advertisement and letter box drops in the local area.
Defence will continue to work cooperatively Commonwealth and Victorian Authorities to ensure the safety of all personnel on site and the local community throughout the project and before any activity commences onsite.
