This website has been established to provide information about the Cultana Expansion Project. This site is updated on a regular basis.
The Public Environment Report (PER) for the proposed Cultana Training Area Expansion has been finalised, taking into account public comments received on the draft. The PER has been submitted to the Australian Government Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities for assessment. The Minister will make a decision to approve, approve with conditions or not approve the proposed action within 40 business days of receiving the final PER.
The final PER is publically available to download and hard copies will also be available for viewing at the following locations between Monday 30 April and Monday 28 May, 2012:
- Port Augusta Library – 4 Mackay Street, Port Augusta, SA.
- Whyalla Public Library – Ekblom Street, Whyalla Norrie, SA.
- Tourist Centre – Russell Street, Iron Knob, SA.
- State Library of South Australia – Corner North Terrace and Kintore Avenue, Adelaide, SA.
- Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Level 2 Foyer, Richmond Road, Keswick, SA.
- The Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities Library – Ground Floor, John Gorton Building, King Edward Terrace, Parks, Canberra, ACT.
