Appeals Committee

An appeals committee will be formed to hear appeals from all health service officers in relation to competency levels or other areas of professional management.

  • Chair - An Assistant Surgeon General Joint Health Command
  • Members - representative from each Health Field at the O5 or O6 level (ie. Medical, nursing, dental, allied health).

An appeal of last resort can be made to CJHLTH. ADF MO will still have the right to submit a Redress of Grievance. However, the appeals procedure is the normal administrative means provided to resolve competency progression issues that should be exhausted before recourse to a Redress of Grievance in accordance with DI(G) PERS 34-1 - Redress of Grievance Tri-Service procedures
