Joint Health Support Agency (JHSA)JHSA provides health support services to Joint Health Command (JHC) and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) via each of its four sections:
Area Health ServiceJHSA is the organisation through which the Commander Joint Health Command (CJHLTH) and Director General Health Services (DGHS) provide medical technical direction to the Senior Health Officers of the AHS. The AHS are responsible for coordinating health service delivery within the health service regions. Health services are normally delivered by a combination of providers which may include ADF personnel, APS personnel, civilian contractors and civilian organisations. Health services provided in each region will normally include, but not be limited to:
