Directorate of Strategic Workforce Development and
Director of Defence Force Nursing

The role of Directorate of Strategic Workforce Development (DSWD) is seen as a broadening of Directorate of Defence Force Nursing (DDFN's) previous role to apply those skills and functions developed by and within the Directorate of Defence Force Nursing to the wider Health workforce. In this way it is envisaged that significant innovative synergies in the delivery of health care, and professional development of the Health workforce, can be identified and developed from a holistic Health Workforce perspective.
