Medical Benefits
As part of this trial, registered dependants will be able to claim reimbursement for gap expenses relating to all Medicare recognised medical services provided in a general practice setting. Eligible dependants may access medical services from the general practice of their choice anywhere in Australia.
Specialist consultations, services provided in a hospital and medical appliances are not eligible for reimbursement covered.
Allied Health Benefits
Each registered dependant can access up to $330 per calendar year towards GST free, non-cosmetic allied health services. The allied health benefit may be accessed anywhere within Australia.
Any benefits claimed for allied health services, regardless of where they are provided from will be deducted from the allied health component (i.e. $330 limit).

Optical |
All prescription eyewear, lenses, frames, contact lenses and repairs. |
Physiotherapy |
Consultations by a certified physiotherapist, ante/post natal classes provided by a registered physiotherapist or midwife. |
Chiropractic / Osteopathy |
Consultations by a certified provider. |
Psychology |
Consultations by a registered psychologist. |
Audiology |
Consultations by a certified provider. |
Speech Therapy |
Consultations by a certified provider. |
Dietician |
Consultations by a certified provider. |
Podiatry / Chiropody |
Consultations by a certified provider. |
