ADF Family Health
Dental Benefits

Page updated 19 November, 2009

Dental services included in the ADF Family Health Trial include non-cosmetic items, which are GST-free. Claims for these services are capped at $300 per dependant per calendar year. To determine if your requirements are covered, please consult with your dentist. The benefit amount is current at the time of posting, and is subject to change.

Dental services can be accessed at any dentist anywhere in Australia.  As the trial does not require dentists to register for the trial, registered dependants can continue to use their current dentist to access dental benefits.

Note: Non-eligible services are not the responsibility of Defence. Not all dentists will be able to process claims electronically.  If the dentist is unable to process the claim electronically, the dependant will be responsible for paying the account and submitting a claim for reimbursement.  Reimbursement is subject to the benefit limit.
