Enhancing Resilience and Well Being in the ADF

ImageThe strategy recognises that mental health is not just related to diagnosable mental disorders, but encompasses a broad range of lifestyle, mental well being and job performance factors.

The strategy will introduce a series of projects aimed at increasing resilience and well being in the ADF. The first project was the establishment of the ADO Well Being Forum to facilitate better communication between organisations that create policy that can enhance well being in the ADO work force.  In Aug 02 the ADFMHS coordinated the first ADO Well Being Forum. The meeting was well attended and this group will now meet on a quarterly basis.
