Enhanced Mental Health Service Delivery

General ImageDespite all of the ADF's best efforts at mental health promotion and the prevention of mental ill-health, we know that some individuals will still become unwell. Therefore, while our focus is on preventing mental health problems, we must ensure that we provide evidence-based treatment for ADF members. The enhanced service delivery initiative of the ADF Mental Health Strategy aims to improve mental health services for all ADF members.

An example of this is the a trial group intervention program that we intend to commence later this year with peacekeepers. We expect that this program will provide immediate relief from the types of readjustment problems that have been reported regionally.
